We're Retiring Our Free Version to Make Instapage Better
Dear Instapage User,
We're excited to share some new updates in regards to your Instapage account that will happen soon. In our continuing effort to make your experience with Instapage as easy and simple as possible, we will be making some changes to the way our accounts are structured to ensure a positive and enriching experience.
What is happening to my Instapage account?
Starting October 12, all Instapage plans will now have unlimited traffic as part of our effort to ensure you're getting as much value as possible from your account. Although this change will only apply to our paid subscription accounts, we're pleased to offer all of our current free account users a 60 day extended free trial of our new Basic account so that you can get the full experience of these added benefits.
What will happen after the change?
As part of this change, we will no longer be able to support our free accounts indefinitely as we strive to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all users with Instapage.
For users with a free Instapage account, your accounts will be automatically switched over to an extended 60 day free trial of our full Basic account. Your landing pages will be retained and kept live as usual for the duration of the extended free trial. After the 60 day trial they will be unpublished unless you choose to upgrade to one of our full feature paid subscriber accounts.
By offering a broader set of our most used features throughout our free trial, we believe you will see how Instapage can be a valuable integration into your daily workflow.
Why is Instapage making this change?
With over 230,000 users using Instapage for free, we've been unable to make the necessary investments in our product, support, and engineering to deliver the best experience we can offer. However, While our competitors will continue to collect payment information up front, Instapage will still allow every user to evaluate the product 100% free for nearly two months.
